BACK TO SCHOOL GUIDELINES
Dear St. Patrick School Family,
I would first like to thank you for your continued support and help. I really appreciate all the calls, prayers, and emails. Under these uncertain times, it is great to be part of such a caring family.
Over these past few months, our Office of Catholic Education in Jackson created a Taskforce that has been meeting twice a week to develop and refine a plan for re-entry to school. This Taskforce is comprised of all the school administrators of the Diocese along with health experts, teachers, and parents.
During these meetings, a review was made of the CDC and Mississippi Department of Health recommendations. Providing a safe environment for our students, teachers, and staff is the first priority. Based on all this analysis and evaluation the attached document was designed to guide all schools, to ensure a safe return in August.
Following all these guidelines St. Patrick will submit an individualized plan for review and approval by the diocesan board and physicians which will be sent to all of you and published to the school website by the end of July.
I hope you stay safe and enjoy this summer break as much as possible with our new reality. I can’t wait to see all of your little ones.
